Nomad is a collection of poems by Yvonne Weekes, published in 2019. The collection has been described as a “survivors’ handbook” and a “travellers’ guide for anyone who has known the burden of a life bundled into bags”. In Nomad, Weekes delves into the complexities of exile, particularly in the aftermath of the Soufriere Hills volcano eruption in Montserrat, which forced her and many others to leave their homes.
